OOH EEH OOH HA HA WALLA WALLA DING DONG!

Graphics:
This was the first Zekey flash I had ever seen (after I heard about it on the DDRFreak forums), and of course, the graphics are excellent

Sound:
Hooray for DDR Music!

Humor:
Mondegreens in a non-animutation video? I'll take that!

This movie is so stupid, that it's actually funny! Good job Zekey...

ZekeySpaceyLizard responds:

dddddddddddddddd

Guess what...

A Turd of the Week winner is you!

112358 responds:

Nah, think I'll miss out. Thanks for the review, though. :D

Animutation, yay!

This MUST pass judgement, and if it does, add Colin Mochrie to it because this has Animutation written all over it! AWESOME!

You have excellent ability in this style, now just file-swap it with a version that has a picture of Colin Mochrie somewhere in it, and you will be one of my new artists to watch!

Although, it could have used an ending though...stupid PirateClock!

Carbonwater responds:

If it passes, i'll throw Colin in there, just for you.

Best Collab Ever Made

This easily is one of the best collabs ever made, either this or Light or The Fingertips Project (mentioned because I like Animutation and all). The song was rockin, the graphics were epically perfect, the fight scenes were pretty good (oh wait, was this whole movie a whole set of fight scenes anyway?), and the Fullmetal Alchmist references were pretty good too!

But of course BreadFruitLock's and Headlock's parts did give me a little chuckle too! Thanks for the inspiration for my next Animutation as well, as I will be using Rewrite for that too! Might not be as good as this but still, if I could get my last Animutation's score above 3.5 (Okay, it was for Clock Day but still).

Excellent. You have rewritten the rules for collabs

p.s. I would have given you interactivity points if you allowed the subtitles to be toggled on and off, that would have been an interesting feature!

Wonchop responds:

Sadly, I dunno how to do subtitle actionscript :(

Lazy Eyes of DOS gaze it

There's something about this Animutation work that suprises me, is it the style of it? Is it the hundreds of inside jokes you threw in? Is it the fact that you used a Rammstein song? Is it the excellent Mondegreens? Well, it's all of them put together!

The title "Beer Pong" really does make sense in 2 matters (the fact that "Beer Pong" is an assumed mondegreen, and the fact that it "ping-pongs" between dark and mysterious stuff and the trademark non-sensical humor of Animutation in general).

The graphics were excellent, the mondegreens were actually pretty good (especially "Lazy eyes of DOS gaze it", any Animutation making references to computer software/hardware in mondegreens like this is an instant win in my books, and you thought "And if Zippy drives my CD-ROM" was a good one!)

Excellent, nice to see that alongside all the newbies in the Animutation world nowadays, there are a few excellent ones hidden in the mess, like this one! Great job Chainsaw Juggler!

ChainsawJugg1er responds:

Thank you very much such an eloquent, positive, and thorough review. I'm honored that you even compare my mondegreens with Kepple's, and happy to see that you're among the few who got them. As long as there are fans with such a deep level of understanding and appreciation for Animutation, it shall never die.

Nice!

Oh yeah, I noticed that you can actually drag the sun around, that's a pretty nice feature!

FattyWhale responds:

Yes, always in the spirit of the Sunshine Crew.

Nice beginning to a happenin' Clock Day

Graphics:

Pretty nice drawing style you've got there, and I kinda liked Mineral Water Clock's moves he did!

Style:

Nice generic fight scene, although I would have given you a 10 if you synced it with the Music...

Sound:

Song from a Bemani game (Drummania 9th Mix) = INSTANT 10! I just love those music games so much!

Violence:

Fruit Clocks have one weakness, being made into a fruit smoothie!

Humor:

How it was put together, was just excellent!

Dispite some flaws, it was actually pretty enjoyable! Great job, and Happy Clock Day Eve!

p.s. I loved this Smoothie *rimshot* XD

stoners-lunchbox responds:

Cheers! The flaw must've been with your own machine though. The scene was in perfect sync with the music. Almost every move went to the beat.

Either way, i had fun and i hope everyone else enjoys it too. Happy Clock Day!

Easily the best movie ever*

*except for The Story of Khale Tralier and the YuYu of course

This is easily one of Zekey's best ever works, although I didn't understand some of the things that were going on (but it was showing creation), I was dazzled by some of the amazing new effects you were trying out (and you thought the "blurred bitmap" thing in The Birds and the Bees was interesting), and I bet some of them used some bitmap trickery!

Sound had to be a 5 because classical music is quite boring, but I love how you actually set it to go along perfectly with the score!

Zekey is becoming one of the best animators here, I can't wait for the day he reaches #1 on the 50 Top Scoring of all time with something big. But still, I'd like to see maybe another animutation with some of your new effects that you've been using (and not short)...

Voted 5 - Overall 10/10

ZekeySpaceyLizard responds:

Lawl, I wont ever get to #1.
And beleive me, I'll still make silly music videos to catchy music. Those things make me happy.

A Great Start...

Excellent!

Favourite Parts:
- Dan Hibiki fight scene
- Colin Mochrie is a Girl?
- DANCING MINK!!!
- Excellent mondegreens
- OMFG! LOUD NOISES!
- My (glitched up) preloader

After all that, that was a pretty good first work! You made my first work (DAIKENKAI! YAY!) look like a pile of you-know-what! Also, I see you actually did TWEENED LIP SYNCING, I only use frame based lip syncing, but you went ahead and upstaged me in the lipsync department! Not Neil used tweening at first!

8.5/10

Seemed a bit slow (maybe because you used 12 fps, I use 16 now and AH will use 18 so experiment. Higher Framerate=Smoother look, and better hiding of sublimital messages. Sorry about the glitch with the preloader, I'll fix that...it was supposed to play the movie even if it wasn't fully loaded...don't know why it didn't work...but at least KK Preloader 0.2 fixes this problem...

But this is a great time to say: Don't blam this! Neil's work were of this quality before and they didn't get blammed!

FlashBastard responds:

Animutation #2 (Asian Pride) will be 20fps and much MUCH faster.

I am the root of most evil
